Bespoke Jewellery
We start with a free consultation to develop your ideas. You can send us your design ideas and inspiration beforehand, via email, so we have an idea on the avenue you wish to take.
The Bespoke Design Process
First Steps:
During your bespoke design consultation, you’ll share your vision with Charles and we can start bringing ideas together. We can discuss occasion, be that an engagement ring, wedding rings/celebrations rings or a commemorative piece of jewellery.
Second Steps:
Once we have finalised the piece of jewellery to be created, Charles will put together quotes based on different variables tailored towards your budget. Variables such as metal choice (Yellow Gold, White Gold, Platinum or Palladium) Stone type; diamond, gemstones or both?
Third Steps:
Once you’re happy with a quote a deposit will be required. On bespoke peices a 50% deposit is payable & then the remaining balance once the item is complete.
Fourth Steps:
Now we can start the process of creating that future heirloom. Charles will sketch and edit designs until you’re happy with how your piece is going to look. We will use a variety of medium to show you the design, from hand rendered drawings, to 3D generated images so you can grasp how your piece will look overall.
Fifth Steps:
‘The Making’ once you have approved the design the making will start. Charles will keep you updated throughout the process, with images of how your piece is coming together. There will be various steps, from hand forging, wax carving, stone setting, finishing & polishing. You’ll have a true sense of how a handcrafted piece of jewellery comes together.
